Double-faced means no lining
双面呢 is made by weaving two faces and joining them along the edges — collar, front, hem, cuffs, pocket openings — so that no seam is left raw and nothing has to be covered up. What you get is a coat that weighs less than its warmth suggests, because the layer that usually sits inside a wool coat simply is not there.
Fifty-one to seventy per cent
The stall prints a range rather than a slogan: 羊毛 51% to 70%, filed in the attribute table under the fabric name 毛呢, with a badge repeating the same claim on the photographs. That is a number we can quote and you can check against the label when the coat arrives. What the rest of the blend is, how heavy the cloth is and who wove it are not published, so they are not claimed here.

Care
- Brush it instead of washing it, and hang it to air. Wool that is worn over a shirt should not need water more than once a season.
- When it does, have the whole coat dry cleaned. The edges are joined rather than sewn into a lining, so a spot-cleaned panel will show where it was cleaned.
- Use a hanger with shaped shoulders. Double-faced cloth takes the shape of whatever holds it, and a wire hanger will show in the shoulders within a week.
