Two layers, joined in places
Double gauze is not a thick cotton and not a lined cotton — it is two very thin cotton layers woven as one cloth and tacked together at intervals, which leaves pockets of air and a surface that crinkles whatever you do to it. Wear it and it softens; wash it and it softens more, without thinning, because there are two layers to lose before anything shows.
Five colours, five photographed
The stall lists five colourways and photographed all five, one after another, on the same wooden hanger in the same light. That makes this the rare listing here where the colour you click is the colour that was actually shot — grey, white, light blue, pink and navy, each with its own frame.
What the stall did not write
No measurements. Not a chest, not a shoulder, not a sleeve, not a length, and no body-weight bands either. Cotton double gauze and four size letters is the whole specification, so we have left every dimension open rather than fill it in.

Care
- Wash it cool and gently, and let it dry in the air. Double gauze is meant to crinkle — do not iron it flat, and do not tumble it hot.
- Expect it to soften rather than wear out. Two thin layers take a long time to thin, and the cloth is at its best a dozen washes in.
- Hang it damp and smooth the collar and the placket with your hands. The crinkle belongs in the body of the shirt, not in the collar points.
