Printed on both faces
A single-faced square shows its wrong side at every fold — white, flat, and the giveaway that it was printed once. A double-faced print means the pattern survives being turned, which matters most at the knot, where both faces meet.
Why 90 centimetres
Ninety is the classic square: folded into a triangle it covers the shoulders, rolled it goes round the neck twice, and tied it still leaves two ends long enough to hang. Smaller squares are for the neck alone, larger ones stop behaving like scarves at all.

Care
- Dry cleaning is the safe route. If it is washed, use cool water under 30 degrees, a neutral silk detergent, and no machine.
- Do not soak it and do not leave it bunched: silk loses colour where it is folded against itself when wet.
- Iron it on the reverse at about 150 degrees while it is still slightly damp — the stall’s own care card makes the same point, that creases in silk are pressed out, not washed out.
